Review: Urban Decay Naked Basics eyepencil duo

Some of you might remember this from a haul a while back. I've never owned anything from Urban Decay before and it's been on my dream list for forever. They have so many fun and unique things but they are hard to get ahold of.

Yes, I still have the box it came in. I seriously need to throw it away now.

It's their dual ended 24/7 glide on eyepencil that is supposed to complement the Naked Basics palette.
The pearly-end is called Venus and the dark chocolate-end is called Crave.
It's a very creamy formula but it needs some warming up before it glides on. This for me was a so so product. I thought it would be one of those eyepencils that actually stays in your waterline, biut I am yet to find one of those. It doesn't irritate my eyes but after 30-60min it's completely gone. It works better for thightlining tough.

I like using Venus in my inner croner to open up my eyes and just give them a little hint of light. Makes me look more awake as well. I prefer using crave smudged in the outher v of the eyelid when I do more smokier/darker looks. Rarely happens but when the mood strikes.

I am glad I have it in my arsenal but I seriously don't see what the fuss is about. Migth just be personal preference.
Which UD product is your holy grail?

February 2016 Shopping

I might've dones ome damage this month. I put myself on a no buy for the first time like ever. I really don't believe in not doing things you like and enjoy, life is way too short for that. But seeing as I want to go abroad with hunney this summer and I'm going abroad with my family week 24, I need to save some money. So, I will try to only buy things I need. Not want, need.  Then what I need is a matter of opinion, isn't it! I made myself a loophole haha.

I've seen these popping up everywhere since Travalo launched theirs a couple of years ago. I ordered this online for next to nothing. Will come in very handy for my upcoming travels. Be it a city weekend or a summervaccation. Love these. hope they fit on my perfumebottles. Read some had some issues with that. Haven't tested them out yet.

And less exciting, I picked up some real brushcleaners from Kicks. Normally I used the Lancôme Bi-Facil, a normal facewash and an antibacterial gel. These I hope will be less of a hussle. tested the spot cleaner today and it worked fine.

Placed an order with feelunique, but it hasen't arrived yet. Also things I really need and have run out of. Might show that when it arrives.

What do you guys recommend getting for going to warmer countries? I'm already making a mental-list over things I will have to get. Argh!

Face Mask From Hell

I got a facemask in my Advent Calendar and decided to give it a go a few weeks ago.

Fírst off, I've never tried a warm facemask before, so I didn't know what to expekt. It smelled amazing, just lika vanilla fudge and caramel. Mmmm. It was fudgelike in color to. And sticky. When first applied to the skin it felt really warm, like you had boiled it first. But it faded just as quick as it came. I let it sit for ten minutes or so. Was a pain to get rid of, sticky and went everywhere. My face was scorching red. And then the nasty surprises came. It broke me out like a crazy person. It took me over a week to get it somewhat normal again. I am so thankful that I had my Nuxe facecreme on hand. I will never ever get anywhere near that mask again.
Can't remember what it was supposed to do, except clean your pores and I can't find it on their site either.

Have you ever tried a facemask that just wasn't a good idea?

January Favorites 2016

New Year and new favorites. Haven't done one of these in ages.

The Body Shop Papaya bodybutter smells like an absolute dream and gives my dry winterskin a boost. Nivea anti age handcreme. Not that I am old, my hands are just very dry and damaged by chemicals. Note to self, always use gloves when handling oils and thinner.

Simple kind to skin refreshing facial wash have been really nice and doesn't feel stripping at all.
Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beauté - finally bit the bullet and bought it at almost full price. Looked high and low til I got the best deal on it. If you're from Sweden, like me, I'd recommend checking out

Maybelline Baby skin - I picked this up at H&M's wintersale and really have been loving it. Feels cooling on the skin at first and gives a nice  base to my all time fave foundation. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation - nothing really beats this for me and I must have this on hand at all times. Needs to further presentation.

Essies Bell-bottom blues have been on my nails for the better part of this month. Gorgeous blue shade. And L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara is my Holy Grail drugstore mascara. This is also one of those things I always must have on hand. Fun fact, dupe for Lancômes Definicils mascara. Had this on one eye and Lancômes on the other all day. No one could tell the difference. Had my fiance stare at my lashes for a good few minutes and even he couldn't tell.

What have you been liking this month?
