Haul May 2015

It's been a while since I did a haul post on here. I've done quite a bit of damage in the makeup department over the past two months. Down below you'll find some of the things I've bought.

From left to right, top to bottom.
A Z-palette in the color Lavender.
Never again will I splurge on a high end palette. Now I am determined to build my own. In it are some shadows you might recognize and a bronzer that I depotted. I say I, when I mean my fiance took a knife to my makeup and did it for me. Somehow he seemed to enjoy himself.

A palette from Makeup Revolution London and it's their Redemption Palette Iconic 3. I suspect it's their take on the ever so famous Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. It was dirt cheap and I've never tried anything from the brand. I've seen the brand mentioned throughout the blogosphere.

An eye gel from Anatomicals No old bags allowed. I've tried it for a few weeks now and I quite like it.

Exaggerate undercover shadow primer from Rimmel. I've seen people use it in tutorials and decided I needed it in my life. Tried it a few times now and I can't say I am overly taken by it.

Lasting Finish Primer from Rimmel too. The cap on this is gorgeous. A firey orangey-red with a pearly sheen to it. Also tried it a few times and, well, it's okay. I'll continue to try it and let you guys know how I get on with it.

Finalyy got my hands on some simple products! They, also, were dirt cheap so I got both the kind to skin refreshing facial wash gel and their kind to skin soothing facial toner, I used them for like three days and then my face decided to throw a fit. So I stopped using them and got back to things I know my face likes. I will try them again just to see if these were to blame or it was just a coincidence.

And, of course, I restocked my staple dry shampoo and my hair oil. Both from Schwarzkopf. Gotta have my staples on hand.

I'm sure I've forgotten some things but I'm sure you've already seen them in a favorites post.

Schwarzkopf Got2B Dry Shampoo

After running out of my Colab dry shampoo I picked this up on a whim when I was groceryshopping a while back. I'm almost out of this one and I have a backup in the drawer. That if anything should say how much I like this!

It comes in a very nice muted hot pink metal can. I'm sure you've all seen it at some point or other. It kinda stands out in the shelves.

It actually does all it says on the packaging. Which is amazing!

The nozzle it great, it gets a bit white though. But not your hair!

I was humpppfing over the claim to be an invisible formula after my last experience. But this actually is it. I mean, it does come out white when you spray it, but as soon as you massage it in it disappears. There is no way you can tell it's in there. You get a little of that powdery feeling in your roots. You get a lot of it if you overdose it. And only then it weighs you hair down. I did that last night because I knew I was gonna be out and about all day and felt sick as a dog. Why does the saying go like that? Dogs are for the most part healthy and jumping around even though they are way to old to do so. At least my bananas crazy sheltie does that. If I just use a light hand it gives my fine, flat hair mega volume. It takes away the oils but I wouldn't say it works wonders with super oily hair though. Tried it and gave up and washed my hair instead. Third day hair forget it! A major bonus point is the scent! Oh my goooood it smells amazingly of raspberry! It is soooo addicting! The bees and all other yucky insects will love this and hunt me through the garden and bite me! Wouldn't recommend this during summer. But I'll probably use it anyway. Love love this!

200ml 48 SEK ($5.82 , £3.76 and 5.18)

Have you tried this? What where your thoughts?

Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

Can I just kick this post off by retracting my former thoughts on the Maybelline Dream Wonder Nude foundation. A week after I did the post I decided I hated the foundation and everything about it! I just want to throw it away! It drove me absolutely mad! I've never hated a foundation as much!
Now, with that off my chest I must rave about this. And this I am certain of! I just don't know what happened to the other one.

This thing took 53 days to land in my mail! 53 days! The first one somehow got lost in the mail so feelunique had to send me another one. I've never had that happen to me before with their things.
It is Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation, as the title would suggest.

It is a foundation that claims to be a 16 hour radiance boosting even and revived complexion gel foundation. Oh my, that was a mouthful. Vitamin rich fruit therapy and instant anti-fatigue.
The amount shown on my hand is one and a half pump and is enough to give my entire face a light coverage. Oh, and this comes with a pump!

I got the shade 51 Vanille Claire. It's always a gamble to pick  foundation online. There is no way I can get a hold of Bourjois in any other way than online. I use findation.com to pick my foundation shades. I've never had a bad result yet.

It comes in a sleek small elegant glass bottle which is a bonus. It's very travel friendly or throw it in your ginormous purse and forget it. Or dream of finding it again. Not that I've ever done it. Not with this foundation at least. It has a slight sweet scent to it. It doesn't remind me of anything in particular. It is in no way obnoxious or overwhelming. It doesn't linger on the skin either. It gives a very light coverage. You can go in a second time and still get a very natural medium coverage. It doesn't look cakey or cling to my very dry skin. It makes my face look healthy, radiant and healthy and moisturized all day! This is my holy grail go to foundation! I just love it! I've never had a gel foundation either. It blend beautifully and you will see this in many, many faves to come. It goes on lighter at first but after a few hours it matches down to your normal skintone. Not light as in ghostly or weird, just a bit lighter. It doesn't last for 16 hours. Not on me at least. Then again, my skin eats foundation. I get a bit more wear out of it by using a primer underneath. What sold me on this was the gel and that it's infused with goji berries and pomegranates, which both are full of antioxidants.

If you want to see a before and after picture with this, do let me know and I'll try my very best to take two good selfies. I am the least photogenic person on this planet!

30ml 129 SEK ($15,63, £10,12 and 13,93)

Btw, just saw this is on sale right now over at Asos! Go grab it!

At the tip of your finger

I really need to stop looking at makeup online! I really should. I'm in way more need of clothes. But, I don't like shopshopping for clothes or shoes as much as  Ido makeup and skincare.

Where is your fave place to shop for make..er I mean clothes. Definetly clothes. But all the summer collections are coming out now! No, clothes it is. At least two pairs of new jeans and some cute tops. I tend to wear the same outfit over and over again. I rarely wear normal clothes anymore. I'm always in my working clothes and when I get home I swap them for cozy swetpants and an oversized tee. On the weekends I'm still in my working clothes doing something around the house.

Hope you're all having an amazing week! I'm knocked out by the meanest cold ever.

April Favorites 2015

Hi guys! Hope you've all had an amazing April. I'm still waiting for that amazing spring weather I'm used to having by April. Seasons are a changing my friends.

This is more like it. I know, some of them are the same as last month. Just proves how amazing they are!
My daycream from Nuxe that I was so hesitant to use. Terrified my skin would love it and get hooked on it since it is sooooo expensive. And of course it did. I've never had this good or as many good skin-days before. I might have to bite the bullet and actually buy it when this runs out. Another skin fave is I Love Mango and Papaya body lotion. It smells amazing.

I've been really kind to my hair this past month. Been loving Philip Kingsleys Daily Damage Defense. It's basically a leave in conditioner that helps detangle and is supposed to prevent your hair from damage when heat styling. My hair is really easily brushed thru with this but I rarely heat style my hair. Schwarzkopf Got2B dry shampoo is my saviour! Love it! I'm almost out of it and I will get a new one! And I did run out of my hair oil and replaced it with a new one since this did work and I enjoyed using it.

A concealer from NYX in As If. A bi ton the drier side but works ok for smaller spots. My absolute new love holy grail product, Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation! OMG! Where has this been all my life? It looks mazing, doesn't cake up or kling to my dry patches. It jsut makes my skin look healty and glowy and peachy. And best applied with my trusty Expert Face Brush from RT.

I smashed this a year ago and really should replace it. But it still works and doesn't brake me out. Love using this for setting my foundation.

Brush mania! No name fanbrush and eyeshadowbrushes and the ever so soft setting brush from RT.

And to no ones surprise I have been wearing this loads! Love it! However, I've got some issues with this. If it's due to me or the palette I don't know. Only time will tell. I will keep on loving this and using it so that I can do a stand alone review of this. However, this does not smell like chocolate! It just smells plain vanilla. Our chocolates over here doesn't smell anything like this. I don't know about the rest of the world but.

What have you been loving thru April?

Nail it Friday: IsaDora Magic Frost

Today I thought I'd share my thoughts on a nailpolish from a brand that I don't think you are that familiar with.

It's the Swedish brand IsaDora. You might recall I reviewed their face primer a while back? Something they are fantastic with are nailpolishes. I love them! I have quite a few of them.
I don't think they carry this shade anymore. When this dries out and go bad I will be properly sad.

Freshly painted it reminds me of snowflakes and pearls. It's got that frosty pearly effect to it. Two coats should get you the desired opacity. It is very sheer mind you.

After a week of abuse at work it still held up pretty well. It doesn't have amazing durability, but nor would you expect it from this type of polish.

Which is your favorite pearly shade? I hope Essie does one, in that case, I will be all over it.
