This or That Tag

I thought it about time to do another tag. Doesn't seem to be any new fun around so I'll dust of an old goodie.

Blush or Bronzer? I'm a rosy person so I'll go with bronzer. I'm still looking for a good one though.
Lipgloss or lipstick? Oh I own more glosses than lipsticks. I think I like not staying as long thought behind glosses better.
Eye liner or Mascara? Mascara aaaaalll the way!
Foundation or concealer? Euhm foundation I guess?
Neutral or colored eyeshadow? I'm a neutral gal who occasionally likes to rock some colors.
Pressed or loose eyeshadows? Pressed. Loose are too messy.
Brushes or sponges? Brushes, definetly. Sponges gathers more bacteria. nd are harder to clean and keep clean.

OPI or China Glaze? I don't like my OPI and I've never tried China Glaze. They disappeared before I could try them so I'll go with Depend or IsaDoras polishes instead. See, cheating already.
Long or short? Long!!
Acrylic or natural? Never tried acrylic and if I did I would probably go for gel. So I like mine natural.
Brights or dark? Depends on my mood. But in general lights.
Flower or no flower? No stinkin' flowers!!

Perfume or bodysplash? If I hang around the house or work I prefer splash. But if I have to be somewhere and sophisticated I prefer a real perfume.
Lotion or bodybutter? Can I go somewhere in between and say whipped bodybutter?
Bodywash or soap? What is the difference? As long as it lathers and smells nice I'll use it.
Lush or other bath company? Don't own a tub yet so I really don't know.

Jeans or sweat pants? I love my jeans!!
Long sleeve or short? In wintertime I like them long but in summertime I might want them shorter. Like three quarter length.
Dresses or skirts? I feel a bit out of my game in both but I'm still looking for the perfect dress and skirt.
Stripes or plaid? Neither?
Flipflop or sandals? Ballerinaflats?
Scarves or hats? Scarves! I love something cozy around my neck.
Studs or dangly earrings? I'm too much of a girl still to say no to dangly sparkly things!
Necklaces or bracelets? It's easier to wear a necklace. I used to wear a necklace all the time for years! But I stopped a month back or so. I don't know why really. But I like bracelets just as much. They are just trickier to wear. If it's not a simple chain.
Heels or flats? This is gonna sound funny coming from a girl who used to compete in figure skating but I can't keep my balance in high heels so I prefer flats! I like a shorter heel every now and then.
Cowboy boots or riding boots? Here we go again. Same answer as in the other question about combat boots and Uggs. I don't like 'em! I love me some biker boots!
Jacket or hoodie? A nice leather jacket with a snuggly yet stylish hoodie under.
Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe? We don't hve either of those where I live so I'll say H&M and Cubus. But it would be nice with a Forever 21 store here.
Abercrombie or Hollister? Again, don't have them. And I don't shop clothes in expensive stores anyway.
Saks 5th or Nordstrom? Saks is a department store right? And Nordstrom? What do we have that is somewhat similar? NK in Stockholm? Never been there so I don't know. I've ben to Stockholm but not NK ;-)

Curly or straight? I'm born with naturally extremely straight hair so naturally I want it curly.
Bun or ponytail? When I want my hair out of the way quickly, I put it in a messy bun. I think it's the figure skating part that plays a role in that, still. My fiance hates it and puts my hair in a ponytail instead. But a sideswept ponytail is nice.
Bobbypins or butterfly clips? Neither is easy to get to stay in my slick thin hair but I prefer clips with teeth on them.
Hairspray or gel? On me, hairspray. On my man I like gel.
Long or short? Long.
Light or dark? Light.
Sideswept bangs or full? Can't have proper bangs but I like sideswept better.
Up or down? Up or it will annoy the hell out of me! But, again, my fiance likes it down so he hides my hairties and takes it down for me.

Rain or shine? Who on earth doesn't like sun?!?
Summer or winter? Ough, personally I prefer spring. All seasons are racingseasons. It's just a matter of going straight ahead or drifting about. But back to the beautyside of me. I prefer spring because everything comes to life again and the air is high and fresh. It's not too hot or too cold.
Fall or Spring? SPRING!!
Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla baby.
East coast or west coast? West coast customs are awesome! No? ;-) I live very close to the west coast of my country. 25 km away in fact.

Geez, this was a long tag thingimadue. Hope you liked it and I'm looking forward to see some answers from you guys!

Lancôme Bi-Facil

I've had this for absolutely ages and I cnnot come up with  single reason why I haven't reviewed this sooner. But anyway, here it is.

Lancõme is  very high end brand and you would therefore think it is an amazing brand. I haven't tried enough from the brand to give a good opinion on that. I was a very lucky girl about a year ago when I found this on sale and picked it up. I think I paid half price or something there about for it. I as over the moon with joy and pride! I didn't really need it but I wanted it.
The packaging says it's a non oily instant cleanser for sensitive eyes.Even waterproof makeup. I'm all for anything that says sensitive.
You have to agree that it looks very pretty, until you shake it. It is two substances that interact when you shake it.

As you can see I've used a good bit of it. I'll be honest here, I don't use it every day. First off, it has a very distinctive scent too it. It's stronger than I would like. It smells like cornflower.  If it's not oil based then it must be silicone because it leaves a greasy silky yucky recidivist on the skin which is hard to get off. I know you're just supposed to use it on your eyes but I just had to try. And as far as eyemakeup goes it is completely worthless! It doesn't even take off my none waterproof mascara properly! My Nivea wipes does a much better job than this! And for being so pricey it just isn't worth it. No, if you're thinking about buying this, give it a pass, and buy something else.

200 ml ( 6.7 fl oz ) 330 SEK ( £31 & $51 )

Have you tried it? What did you think? Do you want to try it?

Im so sorry!

I told myself from the start that I would post on here whenever I felt like it or had sonething worth sharing. That I wouldn't have a regular schedule or make excises when I didn't post. But here I am, gonna apologize for not posting this week. You are a few but dear bunch and more than I could've imagined. So, the lack of posts are due to alot of things. I've moved into a house this weekend and spent all last week painting and organizing and this week I'm working 55h at my day job. I am so exhausted right now! And my car, the love of my life, decided to bail on me yet again. So I will spend my only free day this week changing headgasket. Again! That is so unglam and so nonebeauty. But it is the other side of me! I hope you understand. I will try to do much more blogging and preparing next week. If work doesn't swallow me whole!

Much love Fia

That Tester

Last time I ordered from feelunique I got a tester from Biotherm which I was excited to use. Now I am very bad at using one thing at a time and one thing only. So I have been altering  this with my Olay one so I can't really tell if it has made any difference or not. I have been using this the days where I felt that the Olay might be a bit too heavy. This is lighter, almost like water but feels very hydrating and soothing. It hasn't broken me out so I am very happy with it. I am actually thinking of buying the big one. It will cost me a fortune but I must do something drastic to my face or I will never experience that perfect skin before going wrinkly phase. Only downside is the price point I'm sure and the smell. It smells, well, a bit odd. Like water with some spicy herbaly tone to it. It's not horrible but still not what I expected from the brand.

Brand Love

A brand that I absolutely love is Nivea. I trust their stuff. They might not always have the promised effect on me but they have never made my skin worse. Never! As I've mentioned in a previous post I have used their face scrub for many years. I used one of their moisturizers for a really long time and loved it! Somehow I don't think I've ever given their face wipes a go. I don't know why because they are great!

I picked up the Nivea daily essentials gentle facial cleansing wipes for dry and sensitive skin.  It claims to gently cleanse and moisturize, remove makeup and waterproof mascara, suitable for sensitive eyes. With natural almond Oil and Hydra IQ.
As I am allergic to almonds when eating it I was rather hesitant at first. Usually I stay as far away from face products with nuts in them as I possibly can. But this had me change my mind. If I didn't like it or cope with it I could always give it to my sister.

I have really enjoyed using this and I've already finished one. This only has one use so far, but I am looking forward to wipe away all my makeup tonight! It has a slight fragrance scent to it, but nothing obnoxious. It takes away all my makeup beautifully. Except my mascara. I don't use waterproof mascara but I still have to work with it to get it off. So I don't think it will work on waterproof. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry or don't want to fuss I use my Lancome eyemakeup remover first and then go over with a wipe to get that horrible oiliness off my face. It has soothed my skin somewhat and hasn't broken me out! I am amazed! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with seriously dry skin. My cheeks have been a nightmare through all of December and this has helped a bit with that. It hasn't made it worse anyway. Only drawback is that the wipes aren't evenly soaked. Some parts are very dry and some are as wet as you want them. They don't drip but are still nicely soaked in whatever magic is in them.

I got two for the price of one so I am a happy girl! I think the normal price is somewhere between 32 SEK and 34 SEK ( £2.99-3.19 & $4.92-5.23 )

First Thought

You know what my first thoughts of my new OPI polish are? That it's overrated , way too expensive for its performance and it looks prettier in the bottle.

What you see are two coats with two days wear. Two days where I haven't done any dishes or anything that would wear too much on my nails! It applys streaky and is hard to get even. It wears incredibly fast. It drys fast but so does any other new polish. I'll keep playing around with it and see if I change my mind.

I hope you had a great 2013. And I hope 2014 will be even better. Make every day count! I hope 2014 brings you joy, happiness, laughter and some minor hardships. Because it is through them we grow. Through them we learn. I don't wish you any harm or heartache. Just more life experience and wisdom.the human grpws the most when she faces danger and obstacles. Sad but true.
