Post Christmas Shopping

I somehow decided that it was a great, no brilliant, idea yesterday to do some shopping. Score some great deals at the post Christmas sales. My local mall was jampacked with people. Why do we go thru this willingly every year? Next year I think I only will be shopping online. Or not. I didn't find what I was looking for but I scored an OPI nailpolish at only half price. I was a happy camper all the way home. Scored some PS3 games as well, but since this is a beautyblog only, I will show you my new pride and joy.

It is a purple polish with glitters in it. I haven't tried it yet. And since this is my first from the brand as well I have hughe expectations. It's called louvre me louvre me not. Get it? A flirt at the glaspyramid museum in Paris. I paid 75 SEK ( £6.98 & $11.49) Remember this was half price.

Did you find anything lovely or just a bunch of grumpy people?

Happy Almost New Year

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I know I had. Lots of delicious food and spent it with my loved ones. I got some really great gifts that I'm playing around with and will do reviews on in the future. I know one of the will make it into my monthly favorites very soon.

I am deliberating with myself whether or not I should do a "what I got for Christmas" post.

I just wanted to wish you all happy holidays and happy almost new year!

Christmas beauty shopping

I got my christmasshopping done today and I've got one word for it. Chaos! Oh my! People everywhere and not enough space or oxygen to go around. I found some really great stuff but not all that I was looking for. You would think that Christmas is a big beauty thing around the world. But it isn't. Almost everyone do Christmas giftpacks but they don't bring out any new stuff around Christmas. I want to give my loved ones new things to try out and maybe use for the new years. I am very disappointed in the beauty brands for not bringing their new stuff over here. I know they have loads of new stuff out in other countries.

Are you all settled for the big day tomorrow?

Under Cover

As exciting as the name is, it's only a face primer from IsaDora. It's fairly new on the market and I found it on sale two months or so ago and decided to put it to the test. First we're gonna look at what it claims.

The list is very long and it sounds promising.
• Hides imperfections in the skin
• Highly moisturizing ingredients
• Reduces redness
• Reduces puffiness
• Mattifying
• Minimizes hyperpigmentation/dark spots
• For all skin types

My first thought from reading this is how can anything me mattifying and highly moisturizing?! I don't think the two ever go hand in hand and in this case they definitely don't! I've got super dry skin in the winter and some redness and hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and this doesn't do anything for it! So it doesn't feel like it meets any of its claims. It does make the skin feel smoother and the foundation glides on better but it doesn't make it stay on any longer. And my skin looks even drier. This was a hughe waste of my money! It's a real shame they don't do refunds. I seriously have no idea what they were thinking when they made this. I love IsaDoras nailpolishes. They are to die for but this?! No thank you. If you're thinking of buying it, stay away and go for another one! Any upsides? It's peachy looking when it comes out of the tube and you don't need a huge amount to cover your entire face but you need more than I'd like. When you put it on it feels smooth but in a dry kinda way. I think the mattifying ingredients gets the upper hand. Sad part is you get a bit shiny after a few hours so it doesn't keep you mattified either. It doesn't smell of anything in particular but a bit chemical. Just like makeup does. On the plus side it didn't brake me out or give me any allergic reactions. I'm not sure why there's an indentaion at the top. I first thought it was because of a squeezy point of thought. I ruled it out by trying. It's 30 ml and will last you a while. If you like it that's a good thing.

Pricepoint then? They all cost fairly much the same. At least those we could call "Cheaper brands". This 30 ml bottle costs normally 159 SEK ( £14.86 & $24.25 )

Have you tried this? Which is your fav primer?

November Favorites!

You know it's that time again! We've left my beloved month behind us and we are all looking forward to Christmas and giftgiving season! Or should I say facestuffing season? I LOVE making my own christmascandy!
I've had some rediscoveries this month. Two actually. So I can't say I have been trying anything new. But they are kinda new to me. I banned myself this month from buying anything I didn't need.

 A merry little bunch.

Saltwater spray from SachaJuan which smells so good! And it gives my fine hair some structure and hold. Beware, get too much of it and your hair will look like a grease dump.

Life saver the days my roots look a bit iffy and I have to work.

Try as I might this is impossible to photograph! But you all know what it is and I love using it as a base underneath the next photo.

Impossible to get a great photo off. I think I will have to take a course on "how to take photos of eyeshadows!" It is IsaDoras Mineral eyeshadow artist palette. It was limited edition a bunch of years back and I got it, tried it, thought it too messy and stuffed it in the back of my collection.

But then I found it and decided to give it a go since the colors are so lovely and fall appropriate. Now I love them! It's called 36 Gold and Bronze. A light gold, a more rusty warm gold, a deeper rusty reddish brown and a very deep coppery brown. They are heavily pigmented so they are a bit scary.

To the left is my everyday mascara that's sadly is starting to go dry and wonky.  To the left a mascara I got over a  year ago, tried twice and hated and stuffed it away. Yves Rocher Sexy pulp and Kicks Extreme Extension. How they came up with the name for the latter is beyond me!

The wand of my everyday mascara is to die for! It's slightly thinner on the middle which makes my lashes look bigger and gives them a doll-like effect. I dip it in the other bottle because the formula of that one is actually pretty good and yetblack and a complete nightmare to take off! The wand on the Kicks mascara is rubbish for anything else but my lower lashes. There it works ok. Not great in any way! The bristles are to short and too stiff. I don't like the silicone wands. I tried Max Factors Masterpiece mascaras when they first came out, both of them, and my eyes itched like mad because of formula and wand.

What have you guys been loving through November? Found any new loves, old re-fallen in love with or just pure disappointments?

How about this?

What do we think about me doing a christmasgift guide? "Na we don't care you haven't been beautyblogging so long" or "Yay! Ideas can never go wrong!" My idea was that it would be sporadic and some thoughts behind it. Not purely beautyrelated either. I love giving my loved ones gifts and I give each gift much consideration and thought. I love receiving a well thought out gift. How do we feel about this? I'd really love your feedback on this!

Sweater weather tag

Oh my gosh! I just must do this tag! Or at least try to. Read on and enjoy!

1. Favorite Candle Scent?
I like anything with vanilla in it but this year I decided to try something differnet and fell in ove with a candle smelling apple and cinnamon.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
I drink all three but I prefer a latte with a flavoursyrup in it.

3. What's the best fall memory you have?
Gathering leaves in our garden with my dad, when I was very little, and then throwing myself in it. A great memory from not so far back is playing in leaves with my dog. He loves it!

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer: dark lips or winged eyeliner?
Neither. I think berrylips and winged liners look amazing on others, but I'm scared of it.

5. Best fragrance for fall?
I don't switch perfumes depending on the season. I use what I love all year round.

6. Favorite Thanksgiving food?
We don't have thanksgiving where I live. Sad but true. We have harvestthingy if you go to church.

7. What is autumn weather like where you live?
Mostly wet. But now and again it's sunny and high lovely air!

8. Most worn sweater?
Haven't gotten myself one yet. I'm still looking for it!

9. Must-have nail polish this fall?
A nice grey or a glittery red.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?
Leaf piles!

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?
I want to say skinny jeans but I find them very uncomfy so I will have to go with leggings. Sorry guys.

12. Combat boots or Uggs?
Neither? I don't like combat boots and uUggs are to expensive and suede is so unpractical. I nice pair of comfy high heeled boots is the way to go.

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?
We don't have that where I live so I don't know. I've eaten pumpkin pie once and that wasn't yummy at all.

14. Favorite fall TV show?
Originals and Downton Abbey!

15. What song really gets you into the fall spirit?
Singing in the rain? No that's more of a springtime song. I don't have a fall song but rather a christmas song. I'm dreaming of a white christmas with Bing Crossby. Sort of my grandpa and dads fault. Love it!

Nail sabbath

Today is just gonna be a wordy-none-picture-post about something that I'm usually very proud of. My nails. When I was younger my classmates used to envy me my long beautiful nails. And I was like, that's easy. Just don't bite them. But the older I got my nails started to chip and flake and break very easily and I got a little bit panicked. I went to the doctors and found out that I had an iron deficiency and started to take iron supplements and I noticed a big change in my nails. And a bonus my dizziness got to a more manageable level. Just a tip for you girls out there.
Then why am I writing this? Well, I want to share. Plus now my nails are back to being a complete mess and looking like crap. Just being honest here. I think, or I'm pretty sure, it has something to do with that I've had naipolish on for nonstop the past couple of months. Not a great idea. I use a nailploshremover without acetone in it but I figure the nailpolish might not be that healthy for you either in the long run. So I will let my nails be and be nice to them for the next week or so. I will try to get some nourishment into my nails and see how they like that.
Before I started eating iron every day I used a myrrhoil for the nails and it did nothing for me. More than being sticky and messy.

Hope you all are having a great saturday!

Good gue and not so great

I made a promise to myself to my face to try and use more mass. How did it go you may wonder. Well, not so great! I have done it three times since then and that's it. I just don't make time for it. It's silly but I don't.

I picked up four claymasks which you might've seen in my haul post. They're from the British brand with the very intriguing name Formula 10.0.6

They are meant to be for one use per packaging and there's two of each. But there is so much in them that you could use it twice per packaging! But I didn't since I couldn't reseal it and that would just make it gross.

First look at them makes them seem to be the same thing. The orange is more of a deep cleaning mask and the pink one more of a clarifying pore minimizing mask. The orange smells like an orange and is very pleasant. It contains said oranges, seasalt and bergamott. It feels a bit warm on the skin which it said it could but it is in no way uncomfortable. My sensitive and very easily aggrivated skin loved this mask! I will definetly buy this again and I think I'll even buy it in a tube.

Now on to the pink one. It did absolutely nothing for my skin! I have one left that I refuse to use! Wied how I can ove one and dislike another from the same brand. It is supposed to smell like strawberries which it contains. And it kinda does but not in a pleasant way. I don't like fakesmelling strawberry scents at all. It contains those strawberries, rosemarin and yarrow. Whatever that is.

They were 20 SEK each ( £1.86 & $3.02 ) so they are very cheap. One big thumbs up and one ee not that great.

Have you tried anything from the brand?

On my eyes

Today we're gonna talk about Maybellines 24 Hour Color Tattoos. I heard alot about hem online and played around with them in stores until I finally caved and got one. And then another one the next month. It just sort of happened! So, now that I've had time to test them out and have a real go at them what do I think? The answer isn't really that easy. I'll explain.

On the hand they look firm and when you rub on it, it wont budge. Put some water and soap on and it's still hard to get off. Great! Maybe it does the tattoo name justice?! Well, no. And 24 hour?! It doesn't even stay that put with a primer underneath! I have kinda oily eyelids but with a primer on must other things stay put all day. And here's the funny part. I used them both at the same time, put some shadow on and went by a whole day and they stayed put. Just a little creasing and I didn't notice and colorfading. But, if I wear the pink on it's own it creases and fades pretty fast. I've had the bronze on today with some shadow in the crease and corner and it has stayed kinda put. Just a little bit of crease but no fading what so ever! Isn't that weird?

The pink is so pretty but a bit harder to build up coverage. The brown one is better in that department. It's more one the brink of being to colorful and hard to get a bit softer. I noticed that it applys better and more easily and less messy if I warm it up first with my finger and then put an eyeshadowbrush in it. Not warming it up before will get you nowhere so they are a bit messy and nothing you put on without a mirror! Another thing I noticed is that it can come of in tiny chunks when you warm it up. You get used to it pretty fast and learn how to work it to your advantage.

On and on Bronze and Pink Gold

The color range here aren't that big. Yet.I love the colors except the tope one that looks just like mud. The purple and the turquoise one looks amazing!

I love them and wouldn't want to be without them! I'm just a tiny bit disappointed in the pinky one.
Good thing is I didn't pay full price for either of them! They're usually 99 SEK ( £9.25 & $14.84) I think that's pricey! Is it just me?

Have you tried anything from the line and what did you think?

The Princess Tag

I've seen this tag go around youtube like mad lately. I watched the first one whihch is made by the lovely Tati aka glamlifeguru on youtube. I thought it was a really great tag. Buuuuut, since I don't make videos, yet, I thought I could do a written one instead here on my blog. Where I rule! *insert smile*

Since all makeup here is superridicoulusly expensive I haven't tried as much higher end stuff. I'm really curious to do it so I'm just waiting for the money to come rollin' so I can go bananas! I hope you'll like my take on this tag and keep on reading.

1. Foundation
I haven't tried a high end foundation yet but I would love to try a M.A.C foundation or one from Dior.

2. Concealer
Again, haven't tried one. Don't know any I would like to try either. Recommendations?

3. Powder
Oh, I just remembered I have tried a high end foundation powder so since it's a mix I will put it here! ID Bare Minerals! Ha! Got the wrong shade but it sort of worked and I kinda liked it.

4. Bronzer
I just got my first ever bronzer and as a bronzer it was a fail but as highlighter it's super. I'd love to try Too Faced or Guerlain. Or Jouer.

5. Blush
Since I have naturally rosy cheeks and hate it I don't use blush. I am super afraid of using one as well. I guess if I woud be rbave I woud try one from Benefit or the heartshaped one from Too Faced. I played around with it in a store a while back and got glitter all over my jacket arm!

6. Highlighter
Hourglass ambient light for sure! Would love to have a go at that stuff!

7. Eyeshadow
I actually own one high end eyeshadow. Or two. Make up Stores Microshadows. One in satin and one in Midnight Sailor! Other's I would love to have a go at are M.A.C's for sure and Urban Decays Naked palettes!

8. Eyeliner
Wow, again afraid of using the stuff since I'm so fair skinned and blonde. I dunno. Any recommendations?

9. Mascara
I love high end mascaras. They are worth the extra money! I've actually have had two come to think of it. One from Make up Store and Lancomes Definicils. Loved the latter so much! And I want to try Hypnose Star! Think I will get it for myself for christmas. Cheeky cheeky.

10. Lip liner
Don't use it.

11. Lipstick
I try to use it. Don't own any but YSL's golden ones with the lipstick colour as a decor on the outside. Rouge Voluptés would be fun to have! They are so beautifully designed!

12. Lip gloss
Actually own one and again it's from Make up Store and is called rif-raf.

13. Brows
Want to try Anastasias brow wiz!

14. Misc
Here you can choose candle or tool or whatever! High on my wishing list there's a GHD curler!

15. Nailpolish
I don't know if this counts as high end anywhere else since they are about 6-8 dollars in the states and I have no idea what they cost in England but here they certainly are high end clocking in right under the 20 dollar mark! Yes you read it right! 20! And it is the Essie nailpolishes. And I was lucky enough to buy one for a little bit more than half the price! So in my collection I have leading lady. I want all the cameleon ones as well and I am desperate to try Butter London. They are even more expensive here than the Essie nailpolishes!

So, that was my take on the princess tag. Hope you liked it!

A little face goes a long way

I don't know how I came up with the headline but bear with me!

I was in the market for a new moisturiser for so long cuz i am very picky about what I put in my face and my skin, let me tell you, is even picker about what it likes. Even though it is supposed to be good for sensitive skin a perfume free it breaks me out like crazy! I get alot of new samples from my mom who works in a pharmacy. I am her guinea pig. If I like it and my skin handles it then she can fully recommend it to her costumers. Which is great and I get to test alot of stuff!

Anyway, I've been using a daycream from Nivea for absolutely ages. I repurchased it for about 4 years I think. I've tried different others but didn't like them as much. So when I was shopping one day like two months back I found this at 50% off and decided to give it a go.

It is Olays Total Effects 7 in One Mosturiser+ sensitive protection with spf 15. Wow, that sure was a mouthful!
The seven benefits are:
Reduces fine lines
Helps with uneven skintone
Aging spots
Uneven texture
And it is supposed to be packed with white thea and hawthorne as antioxidants. That can never be wrong!

Okay, so after having tried t for almost two months I should notice some difference. Most daycreams shows effects after 3 weeks. At least on my skin. I don't have that many fine lines to begin with, just around the eyes. I sort of have uneven skintone as in the meaning that I flush easily and get some redness on my cheeks. No aging spots, I am dry but not dull and some bigger pores that I hate! It has evened out my complexion and given it some more sheen than usual. My skin overall looks like it feels alot better. I remember waking up one morning and looking myself in the mirror and really noticing that I had a great skin day! It was like "is this really me?" I am well over 20 now and still have some breakouts on my cheeks that never seem to want to go away. I will never have perfect skin and it pains me greatly. That good skinday lasted for a few days and then I got some breakouts but today I seem to be back at that great point. And I am pretty sure I owe it to this little guy! One thing that drives me absolutely insane about the Olay bottles is that the pumphead comes of the first few times when you take off thee protective plastic top. A hughe designflaw that I complained about on instagram.
I am really pleased with this and I might repurchase it. And that in itself is a great reward coming from me!
The pricepoint then? It was originally 155 SEK ( £14.67 & $23.48 ) so it's on the pricier side. Not at the Biotherm or any of those but still. So if you devide that in half you get what I paid which I think is a much better price!
I will let you know how I get on with it.

Have you tried aanything from Olay? What was your thoughts? Which is your holy-skin-grail?

I've finally made up my mind!

Todays post is gonna be about the ever so popular Wake me up foundation from Rimmel. Everyone seems to love it! They go on and on about how great it is. So naturally I decided to give it a go. I really wanted to love it and was so excited when it came over from the Uk.

At first looking at the packaging I was scared of trying it. It looks really glittery in the bottle.

I tried it for the longest time without a primer and I really wanted to love it. it looked sort of great the first couple of hours on and then it went from light powdery to darker liquidy mess. It sinks right into he pores and any fine lines that I might've gotten over the years. I'm only 24 but me like everybody else have lived and laughed. It made my skin look even dried and flaky and oh my god it looked pretty awful after just four hours! So I decided it must be something wrong with my skin and moisturizer so I changed that and got myself a primer. I look even drier now!! I like the lightreflecting part of it but not that it sinks in to my pores and makes my skin look even drier. And that in changes color and goes from a bit of a powdery finish to a more sticky liquidy finish. I really thought this would be a great foundation for me since I've heard other people with dry skin like it. But I don't. To be honest with you I think I will give it to my sister and get a new one for myself. And now it has started to itch a bit on my skin as well. It has a slight fragrance to it which I really don't mind. But my skin seems to now after three weeks of use. I will e using it today as well and then I wont!
88 SEK ( £8 & $13.55 )

I'm sorry Rimmel. I so wanted to love it! On the up side it is a great color math to my winterskin. I used findation to get it right.

October Favorites

So we're done with October and we're eagerly awaiting my month! Not really mine but I'm a November child.
October for me went by in a flash. I've tried some new things and some have made their way here. The rest will certainly come in due time.

First off, a hair mask from Gunry. I use it once a week to the ends of my hair. Just to give them some love. And gosh do I love the smell of this?! It smells like summer strawberries. And it gets the job done.
The only facial scrub I've ever used is Niveas skin refining scrub. It's essentially blue gue with small specs inside. It's very gentle to my sensitive skin. It removes dead skincells, cleans and re hydrates. It's the second or third tube I'm using. Lasts a very long time I might add.
And this yellow ray of sunshine might look familiar if you've read my blogpost on it. Simply love it. I found that it left less residue if I sprayed it in damp hair. Just a tip for you.
No one can have missed the rave about Maybellines color tattoos. I will be doing a side by side review of these soon. The last week or so I have used them together and it looks stunning! I have on and on bronze and rose gold.
Another new love of mine is this sort of translucent settingpowder from Rimmel. I don't know about the clear complexion part since I haven't used it for that long. But my guess is it doesn't hurt either.

Have you tried any of these? What's been your fave thing through October?

Lets go blonde!

I am a natural honeyblonde but lately I feel like I'm going really dark. And I don't want that, I like being all honey! I didn't find any silvershampoos or lightning effect shampoos in my local grocery store so I turned to my all time favorite and savior feelunique!

It is the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go blonder lightening shampoo. It says to "gradually lighten blonde hair for a year-round sun-kissed look". I thought that sounded promising and went ahead and got the smaller bottle, in case I didn't like it. I've never tried anything from this brand before so I had no previous expectations or hopes.
21 SEK (£2.05 & $3.32)

It is supposed to contain chamomile and citrus. But it smells like one of those "after coloring treatments". And that is sort of what it feels like as well. It's yellow and lathers like a shampoo and it feels like it packs alot of nourishing benefits. But my hair doesn't need that. My hair isn't damaged from coloring or heat styling. It just weighs my hair down and makes it feel, well, a bit well to taken care of. My hair can't absorb all the goodness, since it doesn't need it. And for the most important part, the lightning effect? I've been using it twice a week for a month and I can't see any difference what so ever! I saw more difference after two washes when I put citrus liquid that comes in those plastic citrus-bottles in my hair. Honestly! It works but I'm quite sure it's not that good for your hair in the long run.

I will be using it up just to see if I get any results at all but I won't be purchasing the big bottle of this.

Hope you found this helpful. Have you tried this or any other lightning effect shampoos? Please let me know in the comments!

Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

I read a fun tag this morning on the lovely from head to toe's blog and  hey, why not do it too?

1. Name a beauty regiment that you rarely do.
Oh wow, there's way to many of them. To anme one that really annoys me that i don't do is using an eyecream. I use my normal daycream there too so it's not like I'm forgetting my eyes.

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularaly?
As a matter of fact, yes I do! I don't want any germs or ickyness on my brushes that then go on my face.

3. How long will you last with chipped nailpolish?
Not long at all. Til I get home and can take it of an repaint my nails. I hate having chipped nails or dirty looking nails. I think that comes with my other hobby.

4. How long will you put of buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
Depends on what it is really. And what mood I'm in. I look around alot to find new stuff and great bargins since makeup is something between two and three times the price here compared to U.S and U.K.

5. What is your worst beauty habbit?
Not using a face primer! But that will change very soon! I have my eyes on a little gem and will give it a closer inspection later today!

6. Name something none beauty related that you put off doing all the time.
Doing dishes! Boring I know. But it's the truth. I do the dishes and a few hours later it looks like someone had a massive party and forgot to clean up. And we are only two! Plus a dog. But I have a theory about that. NEIGHBOURS!!

7. When going somewhere do you leave getting ready to the last minute?
No I don't. I get ready as soon as I can. An hour before I have to go at the latest. I am very keen on being on time and I'm rather there too early than in the last minute.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Of course I can. But I don't like doing it.

9. How organized is your makeup and nailpolish collection?
My nailpolish is very well organized, the rest not so much. You can find my nailpolish organization on my Instagram.

And that is it for that tag. I'd love to read your answers!

All the rave about Batiste

I've heard so much raving about the Batiste dry shampoos. Are they worth the hype? Are they any good? The simple answer to that is: kinda.

If you aren't familiar with what a dry shampoo is it's exactly what it sounds like. A shampoo you use on dry hair the days you don't wash your hair or your roots are starting to look a bit iffy.
This one is 150 ml and cost 40 SEK ( £3.84 & $6.22 )

It smells really nice of coconut and the distribution of it is ok. But why, oh why, does it have to leave a whitish look to your hair?! I don't get it. I thought it only did that to brown and black hair, but no. It does that to my blonde hair as well. That's the only downside really. That and that it doesn't add any volume to my hair at all. I've heard someone on youtube saying she got a little bit of volume in her hair by using this. It doesn't say that it should do that anywhere on the packaging. So it's not like it's breaking a promise. It took me two times to use it before I got the hang of how it worked and got a good result from it. I like it but I will not get this scent again. At least not until summer. I think I will try the clean and clear one instead.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Now I can't wait any longer! I simply must show you guys what I've gotten the last few weeks. I'm waiting for two palettes as well but they are taking too long!

A pretty bad overview picture. Scroll down and get into the goodies.
A mini sized lightning shampoo from John Frieda. I thought it would be bigger. Used it once already.
I thought I would be nice to my skin and get into using masks more. The orange one had two as well but one is already used. And I liked it! They are a deep cleansing mud mask and a pore minimizing mud mask from Formula 10.0.6
I'm now getting into my "winter skin" which is way paler than my summer skin so I needed a new setting powder. And I thought I would give this  clear complexion powder from Rimmel a whirl.
A freebie from Biotherm. First thing ever from them I'm trying or using. This is gonna be fun since my skin is so picky about what it likes.
Again on the winter skin. I picked this Wake me up foundation from Rimmel. I've neard so much about it and thought "hey, why not". I've tried it twice so far. I got the right shade using
Found this really cheap in a physical store. It is a dry shampoo from Batiste in the tropical fragrance. And by tropical they mean coconutty.
Found this bad boy at half price and simply couldn't resist. Have tried another one from Olay but didn't like it that much. I have been using this since I got it. It is the 7 in one daily moisturiser with spf 15.
And lastly some armcandy! Aren't these colors so much fun?! I thought I could paire one color at a time between the two black ones. And I love them! A navy blue, a neon limeyellow and a neon orange. I refuse to lay of all right colors just because we're getting into gloomier weather here in scandinavia.

I hope you liked this haul. I don't know if you want more or less info about each product? I will be doing reviews on all of these in coming weeks. Which one do you want to read first?

They are all purchased at different times and different places. Some in physical store and some online.

September Favorites

Can you believe it? It's October already!! How on earth did that happen? I remember thinking waaay back in January that wonder how this year is gonna be? Is it gonna be a good fast paced one or is it gonna drag it's feet. I guess I have  my answer now.
So what have I been liking through September? Not that much new stuff I'm afraid. It's been a pretty basic and sick month for me so I haven't worn that much makeup. And when I have, it has been either the maybelline rosemetallicy one or a standard brownbronzy eye. I am trying to play around with some more darker browns and matte colors. It is hard! And for nails..Oh my I almost only own summery colors!

My trusty bodylotion which I have done a full review of.
Coca smelling finegritted bodyscrub from a brand I've never heard of before.
My go to red sparkly nailpolish from Essie. Leading Lady. LOVE it!
My first ever eyeshadowprimer ever! It's from makeupstore and works really well. It even makes my cheap eyeshadows last all day.
Makeup store microshadow in 2A1 Satin. My favorite highllighter or all over base.
It's very sparkly and shear once you blend it out.

Have you tried any of these?

Everything that shimmers

In my last monthly favorites post I promised a post on the Rimmel Sunshimmer 3 in 1 Bronzer. And here it is! Mine is in 001 Gold Princess.Love the name!

I picked it up from lookfantastic  16 weeks ago. I'm telling you Instagram has a great function! It looked promising and I really liked the fact that it had three shades in one! I thought it would be slightly shimmery but it's megashimmery! The pictures doesn't do it justice. It's megasparkly! I use it more as a highlighter than a bronzer. And I mostly use the two lightercolors. The third is too coppery for my taste.
Tried being a bit artistic with my new DSLR.
As I said, very shimmery. My fav is the lightest color to put on my cheekbones and down the nose.

It looks beautiful on, but it can be a bit hard to blend out to make it look a bit more natural. Or it's just my brush who isn't the best one for this type of product. It stays on all day and my mum actually got the same one just recently.

I really like it and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a sparkly bronzer for that healthy glowing effect. As a bronzer and warming up your face I'd say go for another one. I know I will til next season. And the price point isn't too bad either. 67SEK (£6 & $10)

Those BarryM

I've heard sooo many youtube gurus rave about the BarryM Gelly hishine polishes and when I found them on asos with free shipping I simply couldn't resist. I had such high hopes for these two and really wanted them to be great. But they are not. The color is exactly as the bottle so pluspoints for that but the formula is crap. It applys unevenly and streaky. I've had a few feeks to play around with them and try them out with basecoat under, without absecoat, thick layers, thin layers, you name it. And they simply don't work for me. I'm really sad and if I could I would return them. A nailpolish for me must be fuzz free and apply evenly without me having to mess around way to much with it. And another thing, it takes longer than usual for it to dry. Love the colors, hate the formula. I'm sorry BarryM.

 £3.99, $6.38 and rughly 41 SEK

Magic Bodylotion?

Let's talk some bodylotion shall we. I've been searching a long time for a lotion that actually nurishes my skin and makes a visible difference. I found this by accident and decided to give it a whirl. And it is the best accident I've ever found! It is the L'Oreal sublime body. I'm guessing it's a part of the sublime series which includes a body-bronzer. I'm not sure. It promises to keep your skin hydrated for 24 hours and let me tell you it does. Sadly enough I didn't take any before pictures of my skin but it looked like cracked savannah earth. Now it's smooth and visibly less dry. I've been using it for about a month or so but not every day. I'm really abd at using these things on a regular basis. I noticed a big difference already the next day but thought it had to be my imagination. But no. It really does work like magic.

It smells very citrusy but nothing abnoxious. It was very affordable too. 40SEK (£3.93 & $6.32)
And best of all, it's light weight and soaks into your skin immediately and leaves no stickyness at all!

Have you tried this? What's your thoughts?

Beauty and other favourites of August

I know, I know, we're well over one week into september and everyone elses favs are up but I'm gonna do this anyway and hope my internet doesn't come crashing down on me. Again!! I've been trying out some new things and some made it straight onto here and some I want to try just a little bit more. I'll review them either way.
First things is the scarf. And I mean THE SCARF! Oh my how I love it. My sister who is currently in Japan sent it to me from there. I've worn it a ton. If I was wearing anything else that clashed with the scarf I changed that clothing to something that didn't. Forget wearing brightly colored bags with this! It is so soft and so gorgeous! I like how it's gradually changing colors. It's from Old Navy which we haven't got anywhere where I live.
So, this lil guy made it to my favourites! I still love it and use it every single day I wear makeup. If you want to know more about it I have done a full review of it.
It's not my favourite mascara of all time but it's the best cheap mascara I've come across. This particular one I got for free with another order and I have a backup one as well. It's from Yves Rocher. An online and by mail makeup ordering company. They have makeup, skincare and you name it. I love that the brush is smaller on the middle and it opens up my eyes. Almost giving it that dollike effect. It isn't waterproof though and not intensely black. Which isn't a concern for me.
I've talked so much about this bronzer it seems like. It is the Rimmel sunshimmer 3 in 1 bronzer. Mine is in 001 gold princess. I actually managed to drop it just before I took the picture, that's why there's a piece missing. It is as the name suggests very shimmery so contouring is out of the question. And I don't particularly care for the darkes part of it. It's to coppery for me. The other parts of it I use as you normally woud use a bronzer. On the highpoints of my face where the sun naturally hits. Down the nose, forehead at the hairline and cheekbones.
A new favourite of mine. Got it a week or so ago and feel head over heels for it! It is the Maybelline 24h colour tattoo in pink gold. It mealts and reacts with heat from your fingers since it is a cream, so a brush is of no use. Feels a little bit awkward at first but you get used to it. Depending on heat and time you can get it from very subtle to very metallicy. Will be doing an in dept review on this in the near future!
And lastly, my new trainingpants from H&M! The silvery bit on the leg is reflective which I noticed first after I got them so that's a plus! It has a pocket on the bum which does fit my phone! How super is that!!? Normally if you're lucky enough to have a pocket will fit just about a key. Or two. They are super comfy and doesn't look silly on.

What have you been loving through august? Found something new to love?
